You are so talented. I hope that I can continue to explore photography as I travel.

My husband (Justin) and I leave on September 30th to backpack to various countries around the world for a year or so.

As we have been planning for our adventure we have been updating a blog. www.nomadbackpackers.com We would love to have other opinions, ideas, encouragement, advice, helpful tips, and more left as comments.

Thanks,
Natalie

Re: The Vomiting

Ugh.

Re: The Vomiting

Bummer! (Though I'm not sure I needed that thorough of a description). Hope you're doing better. As one who spent 5 days in the hospital for Vertigo, I empathize.

My Thailand recommendation would be cooking classes!! I spent one week in Chiang Mai taking cooking classes. Yummy, yummy. ANd I continue to impress my friends back home with my Pad Thai and other dishes. I took classes at the Chiang Mai Thai Cookery School, 1-3 Moon Muang Road if you get up that way.

I did cooking classes across Asia - Thailand, Vietnam & China - and loved it. Techniques I learned continue to influence my cooking.

Take care!

Re: The Vomiting

Have you ever tried wearing those wrist bands that have the ball that presses against a pressure point in your wrist? my fiance's mom swears by those.. she ends up having to use them a lot because she gets motion sick and her husband is a classic car enthusiast, so there are a lot of road trips.
