And the guy trying to sell you 5 American dollars from 1800... made out of aluminum. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Manila is not an easy city for sure. It's got it's own charm and spirit, but it takes a while to find that groove .... amid loads of chaos and pollution and traffic and hustle. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It's Christina from BnA, btw. I will admit that most of what I know about the city and its history comes from Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon, but it still made me more interested in going there.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As for the mail-order thing, you are right, it is everywhere.
