Mind on Mui Ne, an Mui Ne on my mind

I’m finally out of Saigon and on the beaches of Mui Ne.
It is like most any seaside tourist village. Restaurants, bars, hotels, tour booking services, and the occasional communist party flag. I wonder if Karl Marx was thinking of seaside time shares when he wrote the Community ... Continue reading »

    I spent two weeks in Mui Ne last October. My husband was there for the kitesurfing. Had a really lovely time! We rented from Jibes and thought they were very friendly. Enjoy!

    Kite surfing sort of scares me. it seems really easy to lose control and get dragged somewhere you don't want to go.

    I have not tried it myself for just that reason! Just ask my husband - he got some pretty serious bruises across his back from being dragged across reef in Thailand. Mui Ne at least does not have a reef! He started out as a kite skiing, on frozen lakes in Canada. That seemed crazy to me, too.
